Abstract

After building the FTA of China-oriented economic area in southeast Asia, China continues to build EAFTA that China has a main leadership. It is true that China contributes to the enlargement of East Asia by reaching the FTA with some countries(or regions). It cannot always be said that China-led FTA contributes to the EAFTA. China-led FTA does not include some East Asian countries(regions). In addition, some countries(or regions) connected with China are not connected with one another. Therefore China-led FTA is not for the whole East Asian countries, but is for the cooperation between China and other countries. The FTA policy of China has brought about another FTA competition of other countries. And it is very difficult that China-led EAFTA represents the whole profit of East Asian countries. Futhermore, China-led EAFTA causes the conflicts of East Asian area, not to speak of the profit of East Asian countries. Japan has the vigilance against the enhancement of the influence of China and enhance its military power within the scope of East Asia. It is possible that the U. S. A. also has the vigilance against the excessive enlargement of the influence of China in East Asia and form the counterFTA. Therefore, it is desirable that China form the system of cooperation by building the communication channel and institution with other countries in the process of EAFTA.
