兩岸關係 신질서 구축의 본질과 전망

Abstract

Cross strait relation emerges from tightness phase and turns to mood of reconciliation. But the journey is still so far. It is complicatedly entangled Chinese Communist party still try to unify Taiwan through a process of assimilating, Kuomintang attempt to guarantee its position in international society while setting stable cross strait relation keeping step with China, and asserting economic recovery and ‘modus vivendi’, Democratic progressive party that never give up to establish an independent state, and other independent force in Taiwan as well, and ‘strategic ambiguity’ of US which use Taiwan as a intermediate zone. It will be reissued the problems on interpretation concerning with ‘one China’ caused by Kuomintang’s fundamental recognition and Taiwan’s independent tendency corroded by Democratic progressive party during last eight years. And Taiwan people is formed a sense of sovereignty different from past on representation of the popular will and sentiments of nationalism via experience of two times turnover of political power. It is most possible to work separately on nationalism in relationship with China from now regardless of expansive tendency of economic relation. Especially it will also be a assignment how to set up relationship with US to Taiwan recognizing that it is unfavorable for them to expand economic exchange with China in a long-term.
