Abstract
<ABSTRACT> A comparative study of the media usage and cultural perception between Korea and Japan This study examines the one-way flow of cultural goods between Korea and Japan after the "Korean Wave; the boom of Korean Culture" around 2004. Then we look at the changes of the perception and attitude towards the other's culture and society. Two survey data of 2002 and 2006 in Korea and Japan have been analyzed. The findings suggest a consistent result with previous arguments of one-way flow of cultural goods from Japan to Korea even after the Korean Wave. The perception of the other's culture and society are not changed and seems to be more 'stereotype' that have been cumulated for a long time.
