Abstract

China has established itself as a leader in the production and use of information and communication technologies(ICTs). On the supply side, it has become one of the most important locations for the assembly and production of ICTs, mainly driven by foreign firms. China continues to import electronic components-now increasingly from other Asian countries-while exporting computer and related equipment. In spite of their relatively limited size and technological know-how, Chinese ICT firms are rapidly developing their production and export capacities(especially in the area of ICT equipment). On the demand and use side, China is the now the sixth most important global ICT market but still lags in the area of ICT services. Meanwhile, South Korea’s Communication equipment manufacturing sector is leading the wireless communication devices. China’s Communication industry in the ICT-led growth expanding the scale of communication equipment. The telecommunications equipment industry in China give a positive impact. This study analyzed flowing of ICT equipment trade for KoreaㆍChina. Through Trade bias theory, ICT’s analyzed more theoretically and systematically communication equipment, linking export structure of ICT equipment in Korea with income structure in China flowing. Korea should recognize importance of China’s ICT equipment market in cooperation with China beyond present condition of Korea. Thus, this study examine the market stream and market impact of ICT equipment and its raising policy issues of ICT equipment through analyzing of Yamazawa’s intensity of trade for KoreaㆍChina.
