Abstract

This article was written to study on the Sense of Beauty in Nature in Zhu-Shuzhen’s Poetry. Zhu-Shuzhen(?-?) is one of famous female Poets in landscape Poetry at Song(宋) Dynasty and his Poetry was compared with Li-Qingzhao. However, as the little historical material was destroyed by fire, there are still a lot of disputes about her life and the evaluation of her writings. As her own unfortunate marriage, her Poetry, from the theme to the content and from the style to the emotion, all is the reflection of the feminine emotion, the family life and the limited dream of life. The features of Zhu-Shuzhen’s Poetry was clear and fresh, and also can be summarized as that : The first, Zhu-Shuzhen basically pursued the Sense of Beauty in Nature. Thought she had a tragic life, she had composed magnificent poems, her landscape Poetry was a part of the expression of her life. Rich emotional spray running through her poem, so she pursued more clear and fresh style in his Poetry. The second, Zhu-Shuzhen have expressed the beauty of four seasons through many Poetry. Especially, the works of four seasons are her own inspiration of Landscape Poetry, and the works of four seasons made her Poetry have much of special character in compare with another Poets. The third, Zhu-Shuzhen demonstrates her endless tragic inner world in her Poetry. Zhu-Shuzhen had unfortunate marriage and lonely life, which made this sentimental Poets more melancholy. So she made use of poems to express her lonely and sorrow mood. Zhu-Shuzhen’s Poetry can be referenced which had left great spiritual wealth to the latter generation and gained her everlasting reputation as a great Poets.
