『周書』와『隋書』에 보이는 문학 작품 상황과 그 특징

Abstract

The literary works contained in the history books are considered to be of high literary and ideological quality, given that the compilers contain records or works that best show an individual's life. If so, we can view these works as representative of an era and examine the literary situation and characteristics of that era. Based on this, this paper identifies and analyzes the literary works included in the Zhou Shu and Sui Shu and their characteristics, with the intention of explaining that the literary works of the Beizhou Dynasty and Sui Dynasty included in these two dynasties have high literary and ideological quality, unlike the previously known aestheticistic literary trends, and furthermore, to supplement the literature of the Beizhou Dynasty and Sui Dynasty that is lacking in existing studies and literary history. The analysis of this paper shows that there are a total of 20 literary works in the Zhou Shu and Sui Shu, of which 13 have only the name of the work and 7 have the original text. The works that contain the original texts show considerable literary and thoughtfulness, judging from the plain language and motives of the writers at the time. This is worthy of consideration in future literary studies and literary history techniques of this period.
