韓国の中等日本語教育における問題点についての分析·考察 ─ 学習者と教師の両方の立場を持つインフォーマントから ─

Abstract

This article is about the issues in secondary Japanese language education in Korea. Infomant is enrolled in a master's program at the Graduate School of Education. The data were classified using the KJ method. As a result, eight groups could be obtained. 1 The goal and focus of education : Communication skills are not fully developed. 2 Teaching method : Rely on audio lingual methods and grammatical translation. 3 Stance of teaching and learning : Emphasis on memorization, emphasis on written language, neglect of phonetic parts, neglect of grammar learning, lack of Japanese culture learning, lack of activities. 4 Evaluation : Evaluation is conducted only for reading and writing skills. 5 The subject of education : Learner has a low motivation, motivation for learning has been insufficient. Teachers still maintain a teacher-led stance and are not interested in individual learner needs or achievements. 6 Teacher : There are few teachers of Japanese native speakers, and Korean Japanese teachers lack expertise. 7 Textbook : Many textbooks contain unnatural Japanese. 8 Government policy : Japanese language education has become part of the university entrance examination. It is necessary to reconsider the position in the curriculum in the future.
