This paper not only aims to analyze current situation and future tasks but suggest a way to extend of Korean language education in Myanmar, expanding of the Korean companies and spreading of Korean cultural contents, Korean Wave as known as 'Hanryu'. To do purposes, I had done interview some students from Department of Korean Language at Yangon University of Foreign Languages which has the oldest history in tertiary foreign language institution to understand education environment. Before doing that I analyzed all of Korean teaching materials which has been published in Myanmar. In conclusion, we have three tasks to strengthen Korean language education. First, it needs to develop teaching materials which focus on only Myanmar students though being of several materials. Second, we have to sustainable programs for scholars and students exchanges. And the last, we need to utilize the Korean Wave in Myanmar not only to make it easy to learn Korean society including language and culture but collaborate two countries' diplomatic relations.
