부산과 수도권 지역의 세대 간 /ㄴ/ 첨가 현상에 대한 연구

본 연구는 부산 지역과 수도권 지역의 여러 세대에 걸쳐져 있는 지역 화자들을 대상으로 하여 /ㄴ/ 첨가 실현 양상에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구를 통하여 지역 간에 나타나는 /ㄴ/ 첨가 현상의 실현 양상뿐만 아니라 세대 간 실현 양상을 함께 고찰하였다. 또한 /ㄴ/ 첨가 현상에서 나타나는 실제 양상과 더불어 /ㄴ/ 첨가에 대한 인식 양상을 함께 살펴보았다. 1차 조사 분석에서는 총 59개의 어휘 중 54개의 어휘에서 표준 발음 여부와 상관없이 부산 지역의 /ㄴ/ 첨가 실현율이 더 높게 나타났다. 세대 간에 나타나는 /ㄴ/ 첨가 실현 양상을 살펴보면 수도권 화자들에 비하여부산 지역 화자들의 세대 간 차이가 좀 더 뚜렷하게 나타났으며 30세 이하의 /ㄴ/ 첨가 실현율에 대해서도 좀 더 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 1차 조사에서 나타난 실제 발화에서의 /ㄴ/ 첨가 실현 양상을 2차 설문 조사 결과와 비교해 보았을 때 지역 간의 유의한 차이를 확인할 수 있었다.
Abstract
One language community shares the same language and language rules, but it doesn’t mean that the languages used inside them are homogeneous. Because there are various variants in the language used by individuals as well as in the language community. The purpose of this study is to observe various phonological variations of pronunciation between Busan and the capital area including Seoul in Korea and speculate its language-internal and language-external factors . This study is focused on explaining the phonological variation related to different social factors of the speakers. Looking at it by the vocabulary within the generation, it shows that almost tested vocabularies have a higher rate of /n/ realization in the Busan region than in the Metropolitan area. It is also shown that the trend of /n/ insertions between generations varies depending on the following vowels.
