계시와 체험: 제2차 바티칸 공의회의 「계시헌장」을 통해 본 한국교회의 신학적, 사목적 과제

초록

계시 개념의 권위주의적 성격을 극복하기 위해 본 논문은「계시헌장」이 계시 개념 발전에 가져다 준 기여에 주목한다. 헌장은 제1장 ‘계시 그 자체’에서 계시 개념에 인격주의적, 역사적, 그리스도 중심적 비전을 제시하였다. 이와 같은 전망 안에서 헌장은 계시 개념이 그동안 지녔던 외부주의적이고 권위주의적인 성격을 해체시키는 동시에, 계시와 신앙 사이의 내재적 관계를 수립하고, 계시와 구원의 역사를 연결시켜 해석학적 전망을 열어주었다. 제2장 ‘계시의 전달’에서 헌장은 계시 전달의 장(場), 전승의 가시적 주체로서 교회의 삶을 제시하여, 계시와 신앙 사이의 내재적 관계를 교회 공동체 차원으로 넓혀주었다. 계시의 한국적 토착화를 위해 헌장으로부터 두 개의 중요 연구 과제를 가늠해볼 수 있는데, 하나는 신앙 행위와 ‘자연적 신 인식’ 사이의 관계 연구이며, 다른 하나는 ‘전통의 위기’ 현상의 신학적 분석이다. 둘 모두 오늘의 한국인의 구체적 체험과 그리스도 계시를 실질적으로 연결시키기 위한 과제로 드러난다.

Abstract

In order to overcome the authoritarian character of the concept of revelation, this paper focuses on the contribution that the Dogmatic Constitution of Divine Revelation offers for the development of the concept. The Constitution provides a personalistic, historic and christocentric vision in the First Chapter, “Revelation Itself”. In this respect, the Constitution dissolutes the long-held extrinsic and authoritarian character of the concept of revelation, while at the same time establishes the intrinsic relation between revelation and faith, in a way to open an interpretive prospect by connecting revelation and history of salvation. In the Second Chapter, “Deliverance of Revelation”, the Constitution provides the notion of church life as the main field and visible subject of delivering revelation, thus widening the intrinsic relation between revelation and faith to the level of church community. In order to enhance the Korean inculturation of revelation, two significant research projects can be derived from the Constitution. First, an examination on the relation between acts of faith and natural knowledge of God, second, an analysis on the phenomenon of ‘crisis of tradition’. These two can be understood as aiming to substantially relating the concrete experience of nowadays Koreans and divine revelation.
