오리게네스의『아가 주석』에 나타난 ‘영성 주제어’ 연구

초록

오리게네스는『아가 주석』을 통해서 하느님의 말씀과 인간의 영혼 또는 그분의 교회가 만나고 서로 사랑하며 일치를 향해 나아가는 과정이 어떠한지를 설명해주고 있다. 본연구에서는『아가 주석』에 담겨있는 영성수련과 관련된 주제어들-말씀, 내적 인간의 감각, 성찰, 수련-을 선정하고 각각의 의미들을 살펴보았다. 우리가 하느님의 말씀에 귀 기울일 때 그 말씀은 우리 안에 들어와 우리를 변화시킨다. 우리에게 내적 인간의 감각이생겨나게 하고 육적인 욕망을 벗어나게 한다. 이 과정은 또한 ‘너 자신을 알라.’는 경구를 실천하며, 성찰하고 수련하는 과정과 병행한다. 오리게네스의『아가 주석』은 중세 영성저자들에게 많은 영향을 끼쳤다. 특별히 12세기에 그의 영향을 입은 이들로는 생티에리의 기욤, 생 빅토르의 리카르두스 등이 있다. 또한 20세기에 들어와서 앙리 드 뤼박, 한스 우르스 본 발타사르, 장 크루젤 등의 연구는 그를 후대에 결정된 교의적 기준으로 이단으로 단죄하던 풍조를 바꾸어 놓았다. 이제사람들은 오리게네스를 성경독서와 영적 의미 터득을 통한 신비체험에로 가는 길잡이로받아들이게 되었다.

Abstract

Through his “Commentary on Song of Songs” Origen explains how the word of God, the human soul, or His Church meet, love each other, and move towards unity. In this study, topics related to spiritual practice - words, inner sense, reflection, and practice - included in “Commentary on Song of Songs” were selected and the meanings of each were examined. When we listen to God's Word, The Word comes into us and changes us. It gives us inner senses and frees us from our physical desires. This course also goes hand in hand with the process of reflection practicing “Know yourself.” and spiritual exercises. Origens' “Commentary on Song of Songs” had a great influence on medieval spiritual writers. People who were particularly influenced by him in the 12th century include Guillaume of Saint-Thierry and Ricardus of Saint Victor. Also, in the 20th century, research by Henri de Lubac, Hans Urs von Balthassar, and Jean Cruzel changed the trend of condemning him for heresy based on dogmatic standards determined by later generations. People now accept Origen as a guide to mystical experiences through reading the Bible and learning spiritual meanings.
