초록

Abstract

The territory within three municipalities of the Sierra de Zongolica(Veracruz, Mexico), is currently the scene of a confrontation, bothovert and latent, between different ways of thinking and make theterritory. On the one hand an important private consortium, endeavoring to carry out the work of the structure, which will bethe basis for the production and sale of hydroelectric energy, on theother, a diverse mosaic of localities, whose intra‐and intercommunity relations are being radically disrupted by the emergenceof the project. In this paper, through a political ecology approach, weanalyze the impacts determined by this situation from anethnographic study conducted between October 2011 and December2012.
