기후 위기와 생태 문제에 대한 라틴아메리카 비판담론의 기여: 생태해방신학과 부엔비비르담론을 중심으로

라틴아메리카 비판사상은 라틴아메리카의 현실을 이해하고 해석하기 위한 사상이다. 이 연구의 목적은 라틴아메리카 생태사상 가운데 가장 대표적인 생태해방신학과 부엔비비르담론이 어떤 전망을 가지고 있는지 이해하려는 것이다. 그리고 특별히 강조하는 주제나 생태 이슈는 무엇인지 파악해 보는 것이다. 20세기 후반에 기후 위기 문제가 심각해지면서 생태해방신학과 부엔비비르담론이 부상했다. 생태해방신학은 사회적 불의와 생태적 불의가 같은 뿌리에서 태동했다고 주장한다. 이 신학은 기후 위기를 극복하기 위해서 사회적 불의나 불평등 문제를 함께 해결해야 한다고 강조한다. 부엔비비르담론은 채굴주의에 기댄 발전 정책을 비판했다. 왜냐하면 이 정책은 생태 파괴적인 정책이었기 때문이다. 이 두 사상은 남반구, 가난한 사람, 희생자의 시각에서 생태 문제와 사회문제를 결합시키는 공통점이 있다. 이런 전망이 생태해방신학과 부엔비비르담론이 생태 사상 발전에 기여하는 부분이다.
Abstract
Latin American critical thought is a perspective aimed at understanding and interpreting the reality of Latin America. The purpose of this study is to comprehend the outlook of two of the most prominent ecological philosophies within Latin America: Eco-liberation theology and Buen Vivir discourse. Furthermore, it seeks to identify the specific themes and ecological issues they emphasize. In the late 20th century, as the climate crisis escalated, both Eco-liberation theology and Buen Vivir discourse gained prominence. Eco-liberation theology asserts that social injustice and ecological injustice share common roots, emphasizing the need to address both to overcome the climate crisis. Buen Vivir discourse criticizes development policies that rely on extractivism because such policies are ecologically destructive. Both of these philosophies share a common perspective of linking ecological and social issues from the viewpoint of the Southern Hemisphere, the underprivileged, and the marginalized. This perspective contributes to the development of ecological thought within Eco-liberation theology and Buen Vivir discourse.
