認識의 관점에서 본 ‘알-’의 意味와 統辭的 특징

認知動詞 ‘알-’의 認識的 意味는 限界 부여의 對象이나 否定될 때 非認識의 對象이 무엇인가에 따라 나뉠 수 있다. ‘NP를 알-’ 구문은 限界가 부여되지 않는 구문으로서 非認識의 對象은 인식 자체가 된다. ‘NP만 알-’ 구문과 ‘NP를 NP로 알-’ 구문에서 限界는 각각 認識 對象과 認識 方式에 부여되는데, 이들 구문에서 非認識의 대상은 각각 인식 대상과 인식 방식이 된다. 또한 ‘NP를 알-’ 구문과 ‘NP만 알-’ 구문은 包括的·全面的 認識으로 ‘NP를 NP로 알-’ 구문은 部分的·斷面的 認識으로 나뉜다. 이러한 認識的 意味의 차이로 인해 ‘알-’의 각 구문은 ‘모르-’와의 反意 關係에 있어서 차이를 보이며, 구문에 따른 程度性의 차이에 따라 ‘안’ 否定文이나 ‘못’ 否定文과 같은 否定文에서의 統辭的 實現 樣相이 달라진다. 또한 限界 부여의 차이에 따라 命令文에서의 통사적 실현 양상의 차이를 보이게 된다.
Abstract
Cognitive meaning of cognitive verb ‘al-’ is divided into general cognition and partial cognition by boundedness and object of non- cognition. This division of cognitive meaning leads to differences in gradability and syntactic realizations. In unbounded construction, ‘NP-lul al-’, the object of non-cognition is cognition in itself. There are ‘NP-man al-’ and ‘NP-lul NP-ro al-’ in bounded constructions; the former is bounded in cognitive object, the latter in cognitive method. In these cases, their objects of non-cognition are cognitive object and cognitive method respectively. The differences of cognitive meaning as such lead to differences of syntactic realizations in negative sentences, imperative sentences. Firstly, it is only ‘NP-lul al-’ that has a relation of antonymy with ‘moreu-’. Secondly, ‘NP-man al-’ and ‘NP-lul NP-ro al-’ have negative sentences by ‘an’. On the other hand, thirdly ‘NP-man al-’ and ‘NP-lul NP-ro al-’ have negative sentences by ‘mot’. These differences of negative senteces are the results of interaction with gradability of constructions. Finally it is ‘NP-lul NP-ro al-’ that makes the imperative sentences, and in special contexts it is possible to make the imperative sentences in ‘NP-man al-’.
