우리나라 신재생에너지 이용량 중에서 지열발전의 확대 가능성이 증대함에 따라 지열에너지에 대한보다 정확한 통계 구축방법과 지열에너지 사용에 따른 파급효과 산출방법의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국제적으로 통용되는 기준인 세계지열학회 채택 통계산출방법을 기준으로 하여 집계된 우리나라 지열수직접이용 통계를 제시하고, 국내 신재생에너지보급통계에 나타난 2008년도 지열원 열펌프 통계 자료를 분석하였다. 또한 지열 사용으로 인한 파급효과인 화석연료 대체효과와 이산화탄소 배출감소효과의 산출방법을 제안하고 상기 자료를 활용하여 파급효과를 산출해 보았다.
Abstract
In accordance with increasing demand of geothermal energy in domestic renewable energy uses, it is necessary to provide more accurate statistics and estimate corresponding impacts of geothermal energy use. First, we propose a desirable scheme of compiling domestic geothermal statistics through analyzing the method being adopted by the World Geothermal Congress. Statistics of year 2008 was analyzed including geothermal heat pump. We also introduced an estimating method for impacts of geothermal energy use on fossil fuel savings and carbon dioxide reductions.
