인천 문화 관련 연구의 키워드 네트워크 분석

본 연구의 목적은 객관적이고 과학적인 분석 방법에 기반하여 키워드 간의 관련성에 초점을 두고 인천 문화 분야에서 이루어지고 있는 연구 변화 양상을 살펴보면서 향후 인천 문화 관련 연구의 발전 방안을 논의하려는 것이다. 인천 문화 관련 연구와 키워드 네트워크 분석에 대해 소개한 후, 연구의 동향을 보다 체계적으로 살펴보기 위하여 기초분석과 키워드 네트워크 분석을 병행하였다. 한국교육학술정보원(RISS)과 한국학술지인용색인(KCI)에서 제목에 ‘인천’, ‘문화’가 포함된 학술논문, 학위논문, (학술)단행본 491편을 대상으로 NetMiner 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 키워드 네트워크 분석과 토픽 모델링 분석 방법을 사용하였으며, 세가지 중심성 지표와 키워드의 하위 그룹 양상을 Spring Map과 LDA 기법으로 구현하여 유형별 및 기간별 핵심 키워드의 양상과 주제 집단을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 1968년에 처음 등장하는 인천 문화 관련 연구는 꾸준히 증가해 오다가 2008년을 기점으로 하락하는 추세를 보이고 있다. 전체 기간에 모든 유형의 분석대상에서 키워드 출현빈도는 ‘도시’, ‘예술’, ‘역사’, ‘문화재’, ‘공간’, ‘근대’ 등의 키워드가 가장 높게 나타났다. '개발', '공간', '도시', '문화유산', '문화재', '유적', '지구' 등 7개 키워드가 세가지 중심성 상위 20위 안에 등장하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 인천 문화 연구의 동향을 특징짓는 가장 중요한 키워드로 볼 수 있다. 인천 문화 관련 연구동향을 종합적으로 판단해 볼 때, 연구의 주제가 점차 다양해지면서 집단별로 집중화되는 경향이 나타났으며, 주제별로 집중화, 전문화되는 경향을 확인할 수 있다. 이는 인천 문화 관련 연구의 양적, 질적 성장을 견인하는 최근 연구동향이라는 점에서 유의미하다고 평가할 수 있다. 인천 문화 관련 연구가 지금까지 어떠한 주제를 중심으로 진행되었는지를 계량적으로 파악하여 향후 연구되어야 할 주제와 방향을 탐색할 기초 자료를 제공한다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다. 본 연구 결과는 인천 문화의 발전과 관련하여 연구자들뿐만 아니라, 인천 및 문화 계열의 종사자나 이용자들에게도 유의미한 방향을 제시하는 토대가 될 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to discuss the development of Incheon culture-related research in the future by focusing on the relevance between keywords based on objective and scientific analysis methods and examining the research changes in the field of Incheon culture. After introducing Incheon culture-related research and keyword network analysis, basic analysis and keyword network analysis were performed in order to systematically examine research trends. 491 academic thesis, degree thesis, and (academic) monographs with 'Incheon' and 'culture' in their titles were analyzed using the NetMiner program in the Korea Education and Research Information Service (RISS) and the Korean Journal of Citation Index (KCI). Keyword network analysis and topic modeling analysis methods were used, and three centrality indicators and subgroup aspects of keywords were implemented with Spring Map and LDA techniques to analyze key keyword aspects and topic groups by type and period. As a result of the analysis, the research on Incheon culture, which first appeared in 1968, has steadily increased, and has been on a downward trend since 2008. During the entire period, keywords such as 'city', 'art', 'history', 'cultural property', 'space', and 'modernity' showed the highest frequency of occurrence of keywords in all types of analysis targets. Seven keywords such as 'development', 'space', 'city', 'cultural heritage', 'cultural property', 'remains', and 'earth' appeared in the top 20 of the three centralities. This can be seen as the most important keyword characterizing the trend of Incheon cultural research. Comprehensively judging the research trends related to Incheon culture, as the themes of the research gradually diversified, there was a tendency to be concentrated by group, and the tendency to be concentrated and specialized by subject was confirmed. This can be evaluated as meaningful in that it is a recent research trend that drives the quantitative and qualitative growth of Incheon culture-related research. This study is meaningful in that it provides basic data to explore the topics and directions for future research by quantitatively grasping what topics have been researched on Incheon culture so far. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for suggesting a meaningful direction not only for researchers, but also for Incheon and cultural workers and users in relation to the development of culture in Incheon.
