초록
This study is to examine in some respects the misongni-type pottery excavated in the northeast region of China and the northern region of Korean peninsula. The results of this survey are as follows:1. Along with the bipa-type bronze dagger, the misongni-type pottery is considered as one of the typical artifacts of Old Joseon. It also plays an important role in understanding the territory and center of Old Joseon which are recently under active discussion among scholars. 2. The misongni-type pottery had been mainly found in the tomb artifacts of Old Joseon. The recent survey on the territory of North Korea shows that the misongni-type pottery is excavated not only in the tombs but also in the dwelling sites. 3. The archaeological circles of North Korea consider that the misongni-type small pot, the mukbangri-type small pot and the namyangri-type small pot belong to the same category. They are named as the jorongbak-type small pot by their appearance. 4. The misongni-type pottery had been believed to be firstly excavated in the stone mound tombs in the Liaoning region. Recently, it has been generally accepted that the pottery excavated in the A cave of Zhangjiapu around the Taizihe valley basin is considered as the origin of the misongni-type pottery. However, the archaeological circles of North Korea are looking for its origin on the Daedong river basin around Pyongyang. For example, they tend to relate the misongni-type pottery of China to the top-shaped pottery of North Korea, comparing the relics of China with those of Kumtanri, Sojongri, Pyodae and Namkyung. 5. Seven potteries including the misongni-type pottery and sixteen dolmens were excavated in the dolmen relics of Benxi Dapiande. The misongni-type potteries with striped patterns and band shaped handles, which are the typical characteristics of the misongni-type potteries, were excavated. The misongni-type potteries without striped patterns and band shaped handles were also excavated. Considering the size of the misongni-type pottery excavated in the dolmen relics of Dapiande, it is likely to be used for a mortuary gift buried in the tomb.
