초록

본 연구의 목적은 자기결정이론을 토대로 학습동기척도를 개발하고 이를 타당화하는 것이다. 자기결정이론에서는 학습동기를 내재적 동기, 외재적 동기, 무동기로 구분하며, 외재적 동기를 다시 통합적 조절, 동일시 조절, 내사 조절로 구분한다. 자기결정력의 정도에 따라 무동기에서 내재적 동기에 이르는 연속선상의 한 지점에 여섯 가지 동기 유형이 위치하고 있다. 여섯 가지 동기 유형은 한 쪽 극단에 무동기가 있고 그 다음에 외적 조절, 내사 조절, 동일시 조절, 통합적 조절이 차례로 위치하고, 마지막으로 내재적 동기가 위치한다. 본 연구에서는 통합적 조절을 동일시 조절에 포함시키는 5요인 모델을 채택하고, 중고등학생 851명을 대상으로 26문항으로 구성된 학습동기척도를 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 척도는 내적 합치도, 재검사신뢰도, 구성타당도, 공인타당도, 변별도가 검사도구로서의 조건을 충족시켰다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop the learning motivation scale(LMS) based on self-determination theory, and to validate it. Self-determination theory classifies learning motivation as intrinsic, extrinsic motivation and amotivation. Again it classifies extrinsic motivation into integrated, identified, and introjected regulations. There are intrinsic motivation one hand and amotivation on the other hand, and integrated, identified, introjected and external regulations between two. In this study, I adapted five factor model―identified regulations include integrated regulations―and developed a LMS based on this model. I used of 815 middle or high school students in the process of a scale development. Through item analysis and factor analysis, I developed a final LMS consisted of 26 items. The scale has internal concurrence, test-retest reliability, concurrent validity, constructive validity and discriminability enough to be a tool for measurement.
