본 연구는 한, 독 청소년 간 매체폭력 자극의 구성양식과 문화적 요인에 의한 정서경험의 분화에 있어 차이가 있는지를 알아보고자 하는데 있다. 사건에 대한 총체적 자기개입을 의미하는 관여도 개념을 문화적 차원으로 확장하여 희생자-가해자-도식을 통해 유발 될 수 있는 반감정이입의 중재를 통해 그 조절효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구결과 단순한 문화관여보다는 반감정이입의 중재에 의한 문화조절 작용이 한, 독 청소년 간 다양한 정서체험과 그 분화의 정도에 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 사실과, 매체자극 속성과 - 희생자-가해자-도식이라는 규범 불일치성의 유무(有無) - 문화변인과의 상호작용효과도 함께 확인 할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 매체사건이 도덕적 판단을 요하는, 즉 선악구도에 의해 가해자-희생자-관계가 확실하게 대비 될 때 한 문화권에서 통용되는 공유된 신념은 문화 간 보다 분화된 정서적 체험 방식에 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.
Abstract
The purposes of the present study were to investigate the affective difference effects according to culturally specific norm-incompatible and non-norm-incompatible violent media stimuli between German and Korean adolescents. The concept of involvement was extended as an intermediated variable for counter-empathy that can be caused by the assailant-victim-plot and was viewed in terms of a cultural dimension. In the first study, the main effects according to cultural variable were confirmed, and the results showed that compared to the single cultural involvement effect, its effects mediated by counter-empathy in terms of affective difference were shown to be more differential. The results of the second research were as follows: 1. in the analysis of the effects subject interaction were confirmed between violence plots and cultural attributes in terms of the most negative emotions. The profiles of interaction between cultural groups indicated the presence of cross-cultural differences in terms of the emotional reaction mode according to a stimuli-oriented or involvement-dependent pattern. 2. between subjects, the main effect by the interaction influences was between violence plots and the cultural attributes.
