한국 여대생의 진로지향성과 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 다중역할계획태도 및 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과 검증

초록

본 연구는 한국 사회에서 여성들의 직업 세계 진출이 급속히 증가되고 있고 이와 더불어 여대생들의 진로지향성이 높아지는 현상에 주목하여 여대생들의 높은 진로지향성이 어떤 변인들과의 관련성을 통해 삶의 만족도를 고양시키는 방향으로 연결되는지를 구조적으로 탐색하였다. 총 345명의 여대생을 대상으로 이들의 진로지향성, 다중역할계획태도, 진로결정 자기효능감과 삶의 만족도와의 관계를 구조방정식을 통하여 분석한 결과, 다중역할계획태도와 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로지향성과 삶의 만족도를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 다중역할계획태도는 진로지향성과 진로결정 자기효능감을 매개하였으며, 진로결정 자기효능감은 다중역할계획태도와 삶의 만족도를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 진로지향성이 높은 여성들이 일-가족 경험을 긍정적으로 통합하여 삶의 만족도를 높이는데 기여하는 개인적 변인을 탐색한 결과에 기초하여 이론적, 실제적 제언을 하였다.

Abstract

The present study examined how women's career orientation is related to life‐satisfaction in Korean society. In particular, we investigated the mediating effects of two variables based on previous studies, such as attitudes toward multiple role planning, and career decision self‐efficacy in career decision making. A total of 345 female college students participated in the study. The results of the Structural Equation Modeling analysis indicated that the attitude toward multiple role planning has a mediating effect in the relationship between career orientation and career decision self‐efficacy. In addition, career decision self‐efficacy was shown to have a significant mediating effect between the attitude toward multiple role planning and life‐satisfaction. These results implied that there was attitude makes a significant contribution toward multiple role planning and self‐efficacy in the relationship between career orientation and life‐satisfaction among Korean women. Suggestions for future studies and counseling education were also made.
