Abstract
This tudy was carried out to btain basic information for optimum storage method of leaf, stem and root ofAngelicaacutilobaRadix, which is being utilizedas major cultivated herbal medicinematerials, rot ofAngelicacutiloba was tored for 3months in diferent packing materials and sealing methods, such assummarizedasfolows. Thelossinweight asinfluencedbypackingmaterialsandsealingdegrewasthelowestatvacuumpackingand complete sealing condition with transparent polyethylene film. The ratio of rot rot during the storage period was not sig-nificantly diferent between polyethylene films, but it was significantly diferent between sealing conditions. Therefore, vacuumpacking and complete sealing with polyethylene film are desirable storage condition forAngelica cutiloba Radix.Key words-Angelica cutiloba Radix, Storage, Packing materials, Polyethylene film
