초록
Restricted sensory changes due to stroke occur most commonly in the distal parts of the body. Few clinical observations about sensory changes restricted to proximal body parts have been reported. We present a case with truncal sensory changes sparing acral parts after thalamic infarction. It may support the theory of somatotopicanatomic proximity of certain parts of the body in the human sensory pathway.
