“하이델베르크 신앙교육서”(Der Heidelberger Katechismus)의 성령론- 구원론을 중심으로

Abstract

In this paper, I have tried to present an understanding of the pneumatology of Der Heidelberger Katechismus. I have kept in mind two distinct goals while investigating the doctrine of the Holy Spirit of Der Heidelberger Katechismus. On the one hand, I have pursued to see the very formation of pneumatology structured in Der Heidelberger Katechismus. From this point of view I have discovered that the doctrine of the Holy Spirit is based on the trinitarian structure and firmly developed under the soteriological structure of reformed theology. On the other hand I have tried to see the pneumatology of Der Heidelberger Katechismus based on contemporary pneumatological issues. In the introduction of this paper I have presented an overview of contemporary trends in relation to the person and work of the Holy Spirit. From this view, I have intended to contrast the pneumatology of Der Heidelberger Katechismus with contemporary issues, and therefore present some points of revision and complementation to the pneumatology of Der Heidelberger Katechismus. Two points can be mentioned. First, I did not find a concretely developed description of the charismatic gifts of the Holy Spirit. Second, I did not see further trinitarian development on the work of the Holy Spirit in relation to environmental issues.
