초록
This writer dealt with 8 suggestions to set forth Reformed preaching after briefly stating some problems regarding the pulpit in the Korean church. Reformed preaching should be based on Reformed theology, which should stand on the foundation to accept the Bible as the Word of God. This writer especially tries to explain the issues of preachers and preaching theology in the Korean pulpit. First of all, I made an emphasis on the significance of preacher’s belief on the Reformed theology as well as preacher’s Christ-like character. As Reformed preaching starts with a belief to uphold the authority of the Bible, preachers should have a firm belief on the Bible as an inspired Word of God. Reformed preachers also should be driven by the Holy Spirit, who is an orig! inal writer and interpreter of the Bible. As for the issue of preaching theology, this writer asserts that biblical preaching theology should be the ground of all Reformed preachers. This writer also highly stresses that both the author-oriented interpretation and Christ-centered preaching should be the basis for the interpretation and preaching of the biblical texts. Every Reformed sermon should keep a balance between the text and application, and the application should draw from the biblical text and move toward both spiritual transformation and holistic transformation in life.
