본 논문은 칼뱅의 인간론에 있어서 ‘주체성’을 끄집어내어, 그 속에 담겨 있는 조직신학적 의미를 소개함과 동시에 한국교계와 신학계에 현재적 적용성(relevant)을 제시해보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 I 장 ‘서론’에서 본 논문을 쓰게 된 목적과 그 목적을 이루기 위한 방향성을 제시했고, II 장 ‘주체성의 개념이해’에서는 칼뱅 스스로는 주체성이라는 용어를 사용하지 않았기 때문에 그의 주체성을 구체적으로 논하기에 앞서 그 개념을 철학적으로 접근하여 살펴보았다. 그리고 본 논문의 본론에 해당하는 III 장 ‘칼뱅의 주체성이해’에서는 ‘본래주체성’과 ‘탈주체성’, 그리고 ‘상호주체성’으로 구별하여 소개했다. 이것은 칼뱅이 인간사(史)를 구속사적 관점에서 나눈 세 단계인 ‘창조된 인간’, 타락 후 ‘죄인 된 인간’, 예수 그리스도를 통해 ‘회복된 인간’에 맞추어 이름 지었다. 마지막 ‘결론적 제언’에서는 본 논문을 간단하게 요약해보았고, 철학에서의 주체성과 칼뱅의 인간론에서 나타나는 그것과 비교 검토해 봄으로써 변증학적 효과 또한 제시해 보았다. 나아가 ‘칼뱅의 주체성이해’를 현재 한국교회와 신학에 어떻게 적용할 수 있는지를 제언해 보았다. 그 적용성은 그리스도인의 ‘신앙적 주체성확립’ 내지 ‘주체화된 신앙 확립’에 초점을 맞추어 보았다.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to introduce 'subjectivity' in Calvin 's anthropology, to introduce systematic theological meanings contained in it, and to present the present applicable relevance to Korean Church and Theology. For this purpose, this paper presents the purpose of writing this paper and its direction for achieving its purpose in Chapter I, 'Introduction', and in Chapter II 'Understanding Concepts of Subjectivity' Before discussing it in detail, I tried to approach the concept philosophically. In Chapter III, 'Understanding of Subjectivity of Calvin' which corresponds to the main point of this thesis, we introduced 'original subjectivity', 'de-subjectivity', and 'intersubjectivity'. This named Calvin in accordance with the three stages of human history divided by the redemptive viewpoint: the created human being, the sinful man after the fall, and the restored man through Jesus Christ. Finally, I conclude this paper with a brief summary of the conclusion, and I have also presented the apologetic effect by comparing it with the subjectivity in philosophy and that of Calvin. Furthermore, I have suggested how to understand the subjectivity of Calvin in Korean church and theology. Its applicability has focused on the Christian 'establishment of religious subjectivity' or 'establishment of subject faith'.
