Abstract
Through biblical-theological investigation spanning the Old and New Testaments, this research traces the motif of worship restoration throughout redemptive history and examines how Reformed sphere sovereignty theology provides a framework for integrating evangelism and social engagement. There are 4 finding. First, the Garden of Eden functioned not as mere earthly paradise but as an archetypal sanctuary where God's presence and reign were perfectly manifested, establishing the primordial worship community. Second, worship restoration emerges as the central thread throughout redemptive history, with the recovery of humanity's fallen worship relationship constituting the ultimate goal of God's salvific work. Third, the church's missional identity is reconceptualized as a "sent worship community," demonstrating that worship serves as mission's driving force while mission represents worship's organic extension. Fourth, Reformed sphere sovereignty provides theological coherence for worship-centered missiology, enabling the church's cultural transformation and social participation to function as liturgical responses to God's creational mandate. This study distinguishes itself from existing worship-mission research by demonstrating that worship constitutes not merely a motivational or methodological dimension of mission, but rather the ontological essence of God's Kingdom and mission's ultimate telos. By redefining mission as God's sovereign work toward forming a worship community within redemptive history, this research provides a theological foundation for understanding worship and mission in essential unity rather than functional relationship. In conclusion, the Kingdom of God essentially represents the restoration of proper worship toward the Creator, with mission ultimately aiming at realizing a cosmic worship community where all nations glorify God as true worshipers.
