봉황과 긴꼬리닭의 역사성에 관한 연구

봉황은 고대로부터 기린·용·거북 등과 함께 4령(靈)으로 인식되어온 상상의 새로 알려져 있으며, 수컷은 봉(鳳), 암컷은 황(凰)으로 이루어진 암수 한 쌍을 가리킨다. 그리고 역사적으로 중국의 한족(漢族)은 용(龍)을 천자의 상징으로 여겼고, 한민족(韓民族)은 봉황을 홍익정치의 상징으로 활용해왔으며, 지금도 대한민국 대통령 문장으로 사용하고 있다. 한민족의 새 토템은 하늘의 자손이라는 천손인식(天孫認識)을 바탕으로 한다. 삼족오는 한민족 고유 사상인 천지인(天地人)을 나타내는 상징체계로 일종의 문화코드이고 주작은 천문도에서 남방(南方)을 주재하는 방위체계인 천문코드이다. 이러한 삼족오나 주작은 성별(性別)을 뛰어넘어 존재하는 상상적이고 이상주의적 요소가 있는데 반해 봉황은 매우 현실적이다. 그런데 여러 문헌과 유물 속에서 봉황은 한국의 토종닭과 매우 유사함을 알 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 그 기원은 홍산문화에서 시작되었다. 이런 점에서 글쓴이는 최근 복원에 성공한 긴꼬리닭이 봉황의 모티프가 되었을 것으로 본다.
Abstract
.Bong-Whang is an imaginary animal known including a giraffe, dragon, turtles, etc with 4 ryeong (靈) has been recognized from Orient Ancient and composed of male is Bong(鳳), female is Whang(凰) Aspiration as a symbol of the dragon to China Korea has been deployed as political symbol of the Bong-Whang historically and now into sentences, President Republic of Korea. The birds totemism of the Korean people from the recognition that the descendants of the sky. Samjokoh, is the Korean People, a sign of the Cheonjiin(天地人) code system based on culture. Jujak(Phoenix) is astronomical code as southern in astronomical chart representing defense system. These, Samjokoh or phoenix, imaginative and then there is an element of idealism that exist go beyond the borders of their gender while Bong-Whang is very realistic. And Bong-Whang in the archaeological relics and references can relise the very similar to Korean chicken in Korea, as well as its origins began in the Hongsan culture In this regard, the writer of the recent successful a Ginkkoridak have the Bong-Whang on the restoration of the job to become a motive
