간호대학생의 지역사회 정신건강간호학 실습 유무에 따른 정신질환 편견 차이

본 연구는 간호대학생의 지역사회정신건강간호학 실습 경험유무에 따른 정신질환 편견 차이를 살펴보고자 시도되었다. 부산과 경남지역에 소재한 12개 대학의 간호대학생 482명 중 지역사회정신건강간호학 실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생 186명과 지역사회정신건강간호학 실습경험이 없는 간호대학생 296명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집기간은 2013년 5월 1일에서 6월30일까지이었다. 연구결과 편견 정도(t=-2.92, p=.004)와 하부 영역으로 정신질환(t=2.23, p=.026), 정신질환자(t=4.43, p<.001), 정신질환치료(t=7.54, p<.001), 관리와 치료를 위한 정책(t=2.63, p=.011)에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 편견해소방법(t=6.09, p<.001)과 하부영역으로 대중매체의 활용(t=5.36, p<.001), 병원환경의 개선(t=5.03, p=<.001), 정신질환자 가족 내의 환경(t=3.32, p=.001), 치료적 발달(t=2.35, p=.019), 실질적 정보제공(t=6.07, p<.001), 정책개발(t=5.46, p<.001), 정신질환자의 직접적 교류(t=4.46, p<.001)가 두 군 간의 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이상과 같이 현재 정신질환에 대한 인식 변화를 위해 다양한 방법으로 국가사회적으로 노력하고 있으나 아직도 정신질환에 대한 편견은 높은 실정이라 다각적인 차원에서 정신질환에 대한 편견을 감소할 수 있는 방법을 강구해야함을 시사하고 있어 본 연구가 중요한 의의를 가지는 것으로 생각된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to provide a basic data that change the recognition of prejudice on mental illness according to clinical practice experience of community mental health among nursing students. The survey was performed with 482 nursing students, 186 experienced clinical practice of community mental health and 296 not it. The period of data collection was from Mar 1, 2013 to June 30, 2013. The results of study were as follows. Degree of prejudice(t=-2.92, p=.004), mental illness(t=2.23, p=.026), psychiatric patients(t=4.43, p<.001), treatment of mental illness(t=7.54, p<.001), budget(t=2.63, p=.011) were different significantly between groups. The prejudice overcome methods(t=6.09, p<.001) positive news of media(t=5.36, p<.001), improved healing environment(t=5.03, p=<.001), collaborative appearance of the family(t=3.32, p=.001), the therapeutic development of mental illness(t=2.35, p=.019), provide information(t=6.07, p<.001), policy development(t=5.46, p<.001), direct contact(t=4.46, p<.001) were different significantly between groups. As above, at now trying in various ways to change the recognition of the mental disorders, But still prejudice against mental illness is higher. So It is believed that the present study has important significance to figure out a way to reduce prejudice against mental illness in the multilateral dimension.
