울산광역시 초등학교 불소도포사업 운영의 효과평가

본 연구는 2015년 울산광역시 초등학교 불소도포사업에 참여한 초등학교 1-3학년 학생의 학부모를 대상으로 불소도포 사업의 만족도와 필요성을 알아보고, 불소도포사업 참여에 따른 자녀의 구강건강관리행태 변화를 비교하기 위해 실시하였다. 그 결과 학부모의 불소도포사업에 대한 만족도가 4.32±.51점, 필요성이 4.35±.70점, 자녀의 구강건강관리행태 변화가 4.38±.49점으로 나타났다. 그리고 불소도포사업의 참여한 학생들이 참여하지 않은 학생들 보다 구강건강관리행태가 전반적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). 불소도포사업 참여에 따른 학생들의 구강건강관리행태는 1회가 4.38±.48점, 2회가 4.40±.49점, 없음이 4.22±.47점으로 나타났다. 불소도포사업 참여 횟수가 많을수록 학생들의 구강건강관리행태 변화가 높게 나타났다. 따라서 치아우식증이 빈발하고, 구강관리습관이 형성되는 초등학생들을 위한 구강보건사업을 활성화시키고, 안정적으로 그 효과를 기대할 수 있도록 체계적이고 지속적인 지원이 필요할 것이다.
Abstract
This study aimed to determine the level of satisfaction with the fluoride application programs in elementary schools and the needs for the programs among parents of first- to third-graders participating in the programs in Ulsan in 2015 and to investigate changes in oral health care behavior by participation in the programs among the children. The parents scored high for satisfaction with the fluoride application programs in general and the Necessity for the programs and children's oral care health behavior: 4.32±.51 and 4.35±.70, 4.38±.49, respectively. The students participating in the fluoride application programs scored higher for oral health care behavior than the non-participants(p<0.05). The oral health care behaviors of the students were 4.38 ± 0.48, 4.40 ± 0.49, and 4.22 ± 0.47, respectively, in the fluoride application program. The higher the number of participating fluoride application programs was higher oral health care behaviors of students. therefore It is necessary to give an institutional and policy-based support on a systematic and continuous basis with the objective of reinforcing oral health programs for elementary school children who see frequent occurrence of dental caries and formation of oral care habits and of making the programs give stable effects.
