성격 5요인에 따른 HTP그림검사의 반응특성 : 외향성과 성실성을 중심으로

초록

본 연구의 목적은 성격5요인의 외향성과 성실성에 따른 House-Tree-Person(이하 HTP)검사의 반응특성의 관계를 탐색하는데 있다. 서울경기, 영남, 호남, 충청, 강원권의 총 5개 권역 11개 대학의 대학생 783명의 HTP검사와 NEO-II 인성검사자료를 수집하였으며, 로지스틱 회귀분석을 사용하여 성격특성에 따른 HTP그림 검사의 반응특성의 차이를 확인하였다. 분석결과 집 그림에서는 43개의 평가항목 중 20개의 항목에서, 나무그림에서는 27개의 평가항목 중 14개의 항목에서, 그리고 사람그림에서는 33개의 평가항목 중 20개의 항목에서 외향성 및 성실성의 수준에 따라 HTP그림 검사의 반응특성이 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 이러한 차이는 미술치료 임상장면에서 HTP 그림검사의 반응특성에 대한 해석과 맥을 같이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 미술치료의 임상장면에서 일반적으로 해석되는 성격요인과 HTP 그림검사의 반응특성사이의 관계를 경험적 연구를 통해 확인하였으며, HTP 그림검사를 성격검사로 활용하기 위한 해석준거를 마련하기 위한 기초연구로써 그 의의가 있다.

Abstract

This study analyzes the response characteristics of the House-Tree-Person Test(HTP Test) based on the Big-Five Personality Test. The researchers divided South Korea into Seoul/Gyeonggi, Youngnam, Honam, Choongchung, and Gangwon provinces and conducted the HTP Test and NEO-II Personality Test on students of eleven universities in each province and 783 data samples were used as valid data samples. The results were the following. Dichotomous Logistic Regression Analysis and Multiple Logistic Regression Analysis was conducted to assess the correlation among the Big Five Personality traits and the HTP indicators. Twenty out of forty-three response characteristics of House drawing, fourteen out of twenty-seven response characteristics of Tree drawing, and twenty out of thirty-three response characteristics of Person drawing, were statistically significant by the personality traits levels. The results of this study follow the interpretation of clinical results in the field of art therapy and standardized the interpretation for personality test using HTP test.
