부모자녀관계와 다문화가족지향성이 다문화가정 아동·청소년의 자존감 및 한국생활적응에 미치는 영향

다문화가정 아동·청소년들은 학령기에 접어들면서 정체성 확립 및 한국생활적응에 많은 어려움을 겪는다. 선행연구들은 이들의 적응에 영향을 미치는 가족 내·외의 환경적 요인들을 밝혀내고 있다. 본 연구는 다문화 아동·청소년의 부모-자녀관계, 다문화지향성, 자존감 그리고 한국생활적응간의 직·간접적인 관계를 경로분석 모형으로 분석하였다. 또한 연구대상자의 일반적 특성을 알아보기 위하여 빈도분석을 실시하였고, 특정도구의 타당도를 확보하기 위하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 이를 위해 ‘2015년 전국 다문화가족 실태조사’ 자료가 사용되었으며, 연구대상자는 총 6,079 명의 9∼24세 다문화 자녀이다. 경로모형 분석결과에 따르면, 다문화 아동·청소년의 긍정적 부모-자녀관계는 다문화지향성에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤고, 자존감을 향상시켰으며 한국생활적응에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 다문화정체성은 다문화청소년의 자존감 향상과 한국생활적응에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 연구결과에 따라 다문화아동·청소년의 자존감과 한국생활적응을 향상시키기 위한 실천적이고 정책적인 구체적 방안을 제시하였다.
Abstract
Multicultural Children and adolescents face many difficulties in establishing their identity and adapting to life in Korea as they enter school age. Previous studies have identified environmental factors within and outside the family that affect their adaptation. This study analyzed the direct and indirect relationship between parent-child relationship, multicultural identity, self-esteem, and adaptation of Korean life in multicultural children and adolescents by path analysis. In addition, frequency analysis was conducted to examine the general characteristics of the subjects, and confirmatory factor analysis was performed to confirm the validity of the specific tools. The '2015 National Multicultural Family Survey' data was used and a total of 6,079 multicultural children aged 9-24 years were studied. Based on the results of this study, practical and policy specific suggestions were made in order to improve multicultural childrren and adolescents’ self-esteem and adaptation of life in Korea.
