조직문화유형과 오픈이노베이션, 혁신성과에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구는 조직문화 유형이 오픈이노베이션 활동에 미치는 영향력과 오픈이노베이션 활동이 혁신성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 75개 기업에 대한 322명의 설문자료를 활용하여 분석한 결과 첫째, 통합적 조직문화는 인바운드 및 아웃바운드 오픈이노베이션 활동을 촉진하는 선행요인이 되지만, 위계적 조직문화는 인바운드 및 아웃바운드 오픈이노베이션 활동을 저해하는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 인바운드 및 아웃바운드 오픈이노베이션 활동은 혁신성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 기업에서는 외부조직과의 연계 및 협력적 관계를 구축하여 경쟁우위 확보와 지속적인 성장을 도모하여야 한다.

Abstract

This study purports to analyse the influence of organizational culture type on open innovation activities and the impact of open innovation activities on innovative achievements. From a survey of 322 respondents in 75 firms, the following insights were drawn. First, whereas integrative organizational culture is conducive to inbound and outbound open innovation, hierarchical organizational culture is counter to inbound and outbound open innovation. Second, inbound and outbound open innovation activities have a positive impact on innovation achievements. Thus firms should establish cooperative relationships with external organizations in order to secure competitive advantage and sustainable growth.
