초록

=가역적 후백질 뇌병증 증후군 (reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome, RPLS)은 두통, 간질발작, 시력변화, 의식변화 등의 신경학적 이상소견과 구토 등의 증상을 나타내면서 뇌의 전산화단층촬영 (computed tomography, CT) 또는 자기공명영상 (magnetic resonance imaging, MRI)검사상 대부분의 병변이 대뇌 후측영역의 두정엽이나 측두엽, 후두엽의 백질 (white matter)에 부종을 보이며, 유발원인을 제거시 동반증상 및 영상검사상의 이상소견이 회복되는 질환으로 1996년 처음 정의되었다. 저자들은 임신 31주 자간증 환자의 후두엽 및 전두엽, 두정엽에 나타난 가역적 후백질 뇌병증 증후군 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
