日本語破裂音의 有？性의 生成 및 知？에 관한 연구 -시간적 특성을 중심으로-

Abstract

This study was designed to examine the production and the perception of voicing contrast for Japanese intervocalic alveolar stops by the Korean learners whose language has three types of stops called "lax", "tense" and "aspirated". To clarify temporal feature I measured the length of pre-vowel, closure duration(CD) and aspiration duration in intervocalic position in Experiment1. In Experiment2 I investigated which of acoustic properities would be relatively important to Japanese stop identification using synthetic stimuil. Results of Experiments showed that : 1)The two Japanese stops were distinguished by CD and the length of pre-vowel in the Korean learners' produced intervocalic stops, which is the same in Japanese. That were also distinguished by aspiration duration by the Korean learners but not by Japanese. 2) The length of closure duration plays the most important role in Korean learners' perception discriminating Japanese voicing contrasts, and the voice bar is the second of what. That means the salient acoustic feature would also be robust cue in perceptual distinction. 3)Both the Korean and Japanese listeners perceived stops mainly by the CD but the Japanese listeners depended more on the aspiration duration for distinguishing voiced or voiceless stops than the Koreans.
