한·일의 turn-taking에 관한 연구개관- turn의 개념을 중심으로 -

Abstract

本稿では、turn-taking研究の基本となるturnの概念及び範囲を明確にし、後続研究の土台作りを試みる。まず、“turn”の捉え方を二つの観点－テクニカル・アプローチ、ノンテクニカル・アプローチ－で概観し、 “turn-taking”の捉え方を三つの観点－確率モデル・アプローチ、シグナル・アプローチ・連鎖アプローチ－から批判的に概観することで、turn概念をめぐる議論の論点をまとめ、問題の所在を明らかにする。さらに、韓国語及び日本語を対象にした研究におけるturnとturn-takingの命名や範囲を調べ、turnの複合的な性質を浮彫りにすると同時に、逆に各々の命名や範囲から見い出された性質をもとにturnの概念を明示する。また、turn-takingシステムの中核を成すturn構成単位の完了及び推移適正地点を予期するための指標となるリソースと、turn-takingとの関係を究明する研究を中心にその成果をまとめる。そうすることによって、 turn-takingメカニズムの解明に向けて残された課題についての示唆が得られる。
