A typological study of the positions of adverbs and word orders among the Korean, English, Spanish and Arabic languages

Abstract
This paper aims to investigate both the language universals and language particulars by the typological comparison of the positions of adverbs, among the Korean, English, Spanish and Arabic languages. As for the relation between objects and adverbs, aside from subjects, other elements are hardly found between them except some frequent adverbs in English and Spanish(<adverb + verb + object>). When the successive adverbs occur, they seem to be mirror images of adverb orders. Considering the distances from the verbs, each language has consistent adverb orders
