노인우울에 대한 삶의 재조명과 인지 재구조화

초록

본 연구는 시설입주 노인의 우울증에 관한 인지치료와 회상치료의 통합가능성을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 소집단의 회상치료에서 과거사건을 회상하고 통합하는 과정에서 인지재구조화의 적용가능성을 알아보고, 우울감의 감소에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 연구결과, 노인우울의 치료에서 인지 재구조화는 회상치료의 부정적인 사건을 회상하는 것을 통하여 쉽게 구체화 할 수 있는 치료기법적인 가능성을 보여주었다. 이 결과는 시설에서 우울한 노인을 대상으로 한 정기적인 집단 프로그램에 쉽게 적용될 수 있는 방법이다. 후속연구에서는 이러한 효과를 명확히 하기 위하여 우울정서의 경험과 인지적 사고와 자아개념의 변화 사이의 과정이 구체적으로 밝혀져야 할 것이며, 지속적인 상담이 효과를 검증할 수 있는 실험 절차도 요구 된다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of cognitive restructure in reminiscence therapy for older adults. Reminiscence therapy, in which the methode of cognitive restructure is integrated, was carried out for depressive older adults in day care center. It was found that the experimental group showed improvement of depressive emotion, whereas waiting group experienced no positive emotion after 6 weeks. Result explained that the methode of cognitive restructure is efficient for reminiscence of past negative life review. Implication of this finding for reminiscence therapy of depression in older adults was adressed.
