집단미술치료가 알코올중독 환자의 자기표현과 자아존중감에 미치는 효과

본 연구의 목적은 알코올중독 환자에 있어 집단미술치료가 자기표현과 자아존중감에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 있다. 연구대상은 S시에 소재한 P정신병원에 입원중인 알코올 중독환자 12명을 선정하여, 실험집단 6명, 통제집단 6명을 무선으로 배정한 후, 집단미술치료 프로그램은 주 1회, 각 80분씩 총 14회를 실시하고 프로그램 적용 사전ㆍ사후에 자기표현과자아존중감 척도 검사를 실시하였다. 연구의 자료를 분석하기 위하여 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 사용하였고, 효과 검증을 위해 각 집단별 사전⋅사후 차이분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 알코올중독 환자에 있어 집단미술치료를 통하여 자기표현에서 내용적 자기표현과 비언어적 자기표현이 향상 되었다. 둘째, 알코올중독 환자에 있어집단미술치료가 자아존중감에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 알코올 중독환자에 있어 집단 미술치료의 회기별 효과를 살펴본 결과, 참여자의 자기평가에서 내용적 자기표현과 비언어적 자기표현이 향상되고 자아존중감이 향상이 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 집단미술치료가 알코올 중독환자에 있어 자기수용과 긍정적인 자기이해를 경험함으로써 자기표현과 자아존중감을 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 알코올 중독환자의 심리재활치료 방법으로 임상현장에서 유용하게 적용될 수 있는 집단미술치료 프로그램의 필요성을 확인할 수 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of group art therapy on self-expression and self-esteem in alcoholic patients. The subjects of this study were 12 alcoholic patients admitted to P mental hospital in S city, 6 experimental group and 6 control group were allocated wirelessly, and the group art therapy program was once a week, for 80 minutes each. 14 times were conducted, and self-expression and self-esteem scale tests were conducted before and after the application of the program. The results of this study are as follows. First, in alcoholic patients, through group art therapy, content-oriented self-expression and non-verbal self-expression improved in self-expression. Second, it was found that group art therapy had a positive effect on self-esteem in alcoholic patients. Third, in alcoholic patients, in the changes of group art therapy sessions and participants' self-assessment, contentual self-expression and non-verbal self-expression were improved, and they were effective in improving self-esteem. These results indicate that group art therapy has improved self-expression and self-esteem in alcoholic patients by experiencing self-acceptance and positive self-understanding. The results of this study confirmed the necessity of a group art therapy program that can be usefully applied in the clinical field as a psychological rehabilitation treatment method for alcoholic patients.
