지체장애인의 자존감 잠재계층에 따른 행복, 삶의 만족, 장애수용, 긍정적 대인관계의 차이

초록

본 연구의 목적은 자존감 변화궤적의 잠재계층 수를 알아보고, 자존감 변화궤적의 다양성에 따른 행복, 삶의 만족, 장애수용, 긍정적 대인관계의 평균 차이를 알아보는 것이었다. 이 연구의 대상은 2,551명의 지체장애인으로 장애인 고용패널 2차웨이브의 1차년도에서 5차년도까지 수집된 자료를 활용하였다. 자존감 변화궤적의 다양성은 잠재계층 성장모형으로 분석되었고, 자존감 잠재계층에 따른 행복, 삶의 만족, 장애수용, 긍정적 대인관계의 차이는 일원 공변량 분석으로 검증되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 3개의 자존감 변화궤적 즉, a) 안정성 있는 낮은 자존감, b) 안정성 있는 높은 자존감, c) 보통의 상승하는 자존감을 확인하였다. 둘째, 3개의 자존감 잠재계층 따른 지체장애인의 행복(b > c > a)의 평균은 유의한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 3개의 자존감 잠재계층 따른 지체장애인의 삶의 만족(b > c > a)의 평균은 유의한 차이를 보였다. 넷째, 3개의 자존감 잠재계층 따른 지체장애인의 장애수용(b > c > a)의 평균은 유의한 차이를 보였다. 다섯째, 3개의 자존감 잠재계층 따른 지체장애인의 긍정적 대인관계(b > c > a)의 평균은 유의한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 자존감 잠재계층에 따른 행복, 삶의 만족, 장애수용, 긍정적 대인관계의 차이가 의미 있다는 것을 제안한다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine self-esteem trajectories and mean difference of happiness, life satisfaction, acceptance of disability, positive interpersonal relationship among trajectories in people with physical disabilities. The participants of this study were 2551 people with physical disabilities. The data of the present study came from the 1st to 5th waves in the Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled 2nd Wave (PESD). Self-esteem trajectories were analyzed using latent growth class modeling. Mean differences of happiness, life satisfaction, acceptance of disability, and positive interpersonal relationship among trajectories were analyzed using one-way analysis of covariance. Results were in followings. First, this study identified three self-esteem trajectories: a) stable low self-esteem, b) stable high self-esteem, and c) moderate increasing self-esteem. Second, people with physical disabilities in three self-esteem trajectories showed significant differences in happiness (b > c > a). Third, people with physical disabilities in three self-esteem trajectories showed significant differences in life satisfaction (b > c> a). Fourth, people with physical disabilities in three self-esteem trajectories showed significant differences in acceptance of disability (b > c> a). Fifth, people with physical disabilities in three self-esteem trajectories showed significant differences in positive interpersonal relationship (b > c > a). The results of this study suggest that mean difference in happiness, life satisfaction, acceptance of disability and positive interpersonal relationship were significant.
