본 연구는 국제 컴퓨터·정보 소양 연구(ICILS)의 평가틀, 과제 및 평가 준거, 영역별 성취, 교육 맥락 변인 요소를 중심으로 국어과 교육 및 연구에서의 활용 가능성을 탐색하였다. 특히 ICILS 평가 영역 중 컴퓨터·정보 소양(CIL) 영역에 초점을 맞춰 2015 및 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정과의 연계성을 분석하였다. 그 결과, ‘정보 수집’ 영역은 국어과의 읽기 영역과, ‘정보 생산’은 쓰기 영역과, ‘디지털 의사소통’ 영역은 듣기·말하기 및 쓰기 영역과의 연계가 확인되었다. 이 중 ‘디지털 의사소통’ 영역은 국어과 교육과정에서 쓰기 윤리를 고려한 글쓰기 등 ‘정보의 책임 있고 안전한 사용’뿐만 아니라 독자나 청자를 고려한 아이디어의 완결성과 연결성을 중시하는 ‘정보 공유’ 하위 요소와도 밀접한 연계가 나타났다. 이는 저작권 보호, 사이버 폭력 방지 등에 초점을 둔 정보과 교육과정과는 구별되는 양상이다. 2015 개정 국어과 교육과정은 2015 개정 정보과 교육과정에 비해 CIL 평가틀과 더 높은 연계성을 보였다. 또한 2022 개정 국어과 교육과정에 새롭게 추가된 매체 영역의 성취기준은 모두 CIL 평가틀과 긴밀히 연계되는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 국어과 교육과정이 국제적 수준의 디지털 리터러시 역량 강화를 지원하는 방향으로 개정되었음을 보여준다.
Abstract
This study investigates the applicability of the International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) in Korean language education, focusing on the alignment between the ICILS Computer and Information Literacy (CIL) domain and the 2015 and 2022 revised Korean language curricula. The analysis found that the ‘gathering information’ strand aligns with the reading area, ‘producing information’ with the writing area, and ‘digital communication’ with both speaking/listening and writing. Among these, the ‘digital communication’ strand is closely linked to ethical writing and information sharing, which emphasize audience awareness and coherence. These features are less prominent in the informatics curriculum, which focuses more on copyright and online safety. Notably, the standards from the media area in the 2022 Korean language curriculum show strong alignment with the CIL framework. This alignment suggests that the revised Korean curriculum supports the development of digital literacy in line with international standards.
