백제토기의 형성과 변천과정에 대한 연구

Abstract

This thesis foucuse on (1) various analyses of the data on the pottery from inhabitant site which dated Proto-Three Kingdom period to Hansung-Baekje period, (2) scrutinization of the formation and transition of the pottery of Baekje. It results the following fact that the pottery tradition had developed and experienced radical transitions two times from Proto-Three Kingdom period go Hansung-Baekje period. According to the series of the development in pottery tradition, this period could be divided into three small period: Period I(B.C. 100s～A.D. 200s) : Baekje's pottery did not arise yet. The pottery tradition in this period consists of the different two parts. The mainstream is 'hard and no motif pottery' and the other is 'Tanalmun' pottery. This period could be divided into three small period. Period Ⅱ(A.D. 200s～A.D. 300s) : In this period, 'hard and no motif' pottery withered away and 'Tanalmun' pottery is substituted for it. The special pottery 'hap's and lids, which indicate a higy status in a social stratification, was produced in the vicinity of Poongnap mud fortifications which postulated the core of Baekje. This period was the formation of pottery culture of Baekje and could be divided into two small period. Period Ⅲ(A.D. 300s～A.D. 500s) : In this period, the kindw and the amount of luxury pottery are tremendously increased more than the period Ⅱ. Moreover, the distribution of the pottery ranged over Chungchung province. So this period could be named 'The growth of the pottery of Baekje.'
