초록

This study aims to qualitatively examine the adaptation processes of Mongolian graduate students in Korea, with a focus on their motivations, experiences, and challenges in relation to prior research. Data collected through surveys and interviews reveal that these students are primarily motivated by their interest in Korean culture and language, as well as the pursuit of high-quality education. While most students reported minimal discrimination and felt generally welcomed by Koreans, they expressed a desire for greater interaction with local students. The study recommends facilitating exchange programs between international and local students, providing counseling services to support emotional stability, and suggests directions for future research to expand on these findings.
