본 연구에서는 최근 도시에서 다양한 형태로 이루어지는 도시농업의 지속적인 발전을 위해 도시 농업의 불편사항 및 요구를 분석하고, 이를 바탕 도시농업에 적합한 농기구의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권 내의 도시농업 교육과정 수강생 84명을 대상으로 도시 농업의 형태 및 불편사항에 대해 설문조사하였다. 소농구의 현황을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 현존하는 농업 및 원예용 도구들을 참고하여 도시농업에 적합한 농기구 디자인 4개안을 Rhino ver 4,0을 이용하여 3D 모델링하였다. 이후 농기구 디자인 전문가의 검토를 거쳐 최종 1개안을 수정보완한 뒤, 사용성 평가를 위해 시제품을 제작하였다. 이를 다시 수도권 내에 도시농업 교육과정 수강생 58명을 대상으로 사용 해보게 하고, 현재 사용 중인 농기구의 불편사항으로 나타났던 부분이 얼마나 개선되었는지를 사후 설문 평가를 하였다.
Abstract
This research is aiming to analyze the inconveniences and needs of the urban agriculture for the continuous development of urban agriculture implemented in various forms recently in urban areas and to suggest improvement plan of garden tools suitable for the urban agriculture. For this paper, 84 urban students of an urban agricultural school in the capital area were surveyed on the forms and inconveniences of the urban agriculture. Based on the analysis of the survey and the status analysis of the existing farming and gardening tools, four designs of farming and gardening tools suitable for urban agriculture were modeled in 3D using Rhino ver 4.0. After examination by the expert in agricultural equipment design, the final draft was revised and supplemented, and the prototype were manufactured for usability evaluation. The prototype is provided to the 58 students taking a course at the urban agricultural school in the capital area, and a survey was conducted on how much improvement has been made in the areas that have been shown to be inconvenient for farming tools currently in use.
