21세기 지식기반사회의 도래와 경영환경의 다각적인 변화 속에서 정보기술 및 사회문화적인 발전과 변화로 인한 지식근로자의 증가는 교육훈련 및 경력개발의 중요성을 높이는 동시에 이에 다른 인적자원개발의 중요성을 한 차원 높이는 계기가 되고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 조직에서 인적자원개발의 중요성은 여전히 원론적 수준에서만 이해되고 있을 뿐, 인식의 부족 등으로 인해 인적자원개발에 대한 투자의 중요성이 확산되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 더욱이, ‘인적자원개발’의 정의와 영역의 다양성으로 인한 문제점이 그 개념자체가 비교적 최근에 대두되었고, 국가별시대별로 인적자원개발의 개념과 영역을 달리 설정하여 사용하고 있으며, 더 나아가 학제간 학문이라는 학문적 특성으로 인해 표면화되고 있다.따라서 본 연구는 엄격한 문헌조사와 분석을 통해 인적자원개발 관련개념을 명확히 정의하고, 이러한 정의에 기초하여 인적자원개발에 관련된 이론적인 근거를 제시하며, 인적자원개발시스템의 주요 영역과 실행프로세스를 체계적으로 설정함으로써 인적자원개발시스템을 이해하기 위한 기본적 개념의 틀을 정립하는데 연구의 기본목적을 두고 있다.
Abstract
Revisiting Human Resource Development: Conceptual Approach Kim, Jung-Won Based on the analysis of the 21c knowledge-based society and the prospects for current economical and social change, this study seeks to draw up the vision and role of human resource development from a managerial as well as national viewpoint. The objective of this research were to identify concepts, theories and related areas in the field of human resource development, to examine the process of HRD practices, and to get some implications for the progress of HRD. Literature review research was mainly used as the research method.
