오늘날의 물류는 기업의 중요한 성장동력의 역할을 하고 있으며 기업의 경쟁력을 제고하기 위해 물류비용의 절감과 고객서비스의 향상을 중요한 목표로 하고 있다. 이렇듯, 기업물류는 보다 효과적으로 통제함으로써 물류성과를 향상시켜 궁극적으로 기업성과를 제고시키게 된다. 본 연구는 조직특성들의 변수들이 기업경쟁력 향상에 주요 부분인 물류성과와는 어떠한 관계를 가지는가에 대하여 초점을 두었다. 조직특성변수로는 조직전략, 조직문화, 리더십으로 두었고 물류성과의 변수로는 물류비와 고객서비스로 두어 각각의 관계를 실증적으로 살펴보았다. 연구의 결과로 첫째, 각각의 조직특성이 물류성과와 유의적인 영향을 나타내었으며 둘째, 조직특성 중에서도 리더십유형, 조직전략, 조직문화의 순으로 물류성과에 영향을 미치고 있음을 나타내었다. 그리고, 물류성과가 높은 집단과 낮은 집단을 구분하는 변인은 변혁적리더십 유형임을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
A Study on Relationship of Organizational Characteristic and Firm's Logistic Competitive Improvement Jung, Lee-Sang Thesedays business logistics is very important factor of logistics cost reduction and customer service satisfaction. In order to control business logistics more effectively, many companies must be concerned about logistics performance. This study aims at analyzing relationship of Organizational Characteristic and Firm's Logistic Competitive Improvement. The organizational characteristic variables are considered organizational strategy, organizational culture, and managerial leadership. The Firm's Logistic Competitive Improvement variables are considered logistic cost, customer service. For data on the 293 sampled company, a mail survey using a questionnaire was conducted in this study. The following results were obtained. First, there was significant relationship between all organizational characteristics and logistics performance. Specially, leadership style was the most significant for logistics performance. Second, there was transformational leadership indentifing high logistics performance group as low logistics performance group.
