Abstract

This study examined the relationship between the three types of organizational justice--distributive, procedural and interactional justices--and supervisory trust, job strain and turnover intention as consequences. Also, mediating effects of the perception of organizational politics(POP) on the relationship was analyzed by using a structural equation modelling(SEM). The findings show that all of the three types of organizational justice have significantly negative relations to the POP. Procedural justice, in particular, has a high degree of negative relationship with the POP. The POP has a significantly negative relation to managerial trust, while positively related to both job strain and turnover intention. All of the three types of organizational justice have significantly positive relations to managerial trust. Each of the three types of organizational justice has a significantly negative relationship with turnover intention. In sum the POP has indirect mediating effects on the relationship between the three types of organizational justice and consequences. The significancies of the findings are discussed.
