설득적 말하기의 핵심메시지 발화에 나타나는 준언어 연구: 속도와 휴지를 중심으로

초록

This study aims to find methods to speak and emphasis the main message effectively in public presentation by focusing on the characteristics of speech rate and pause. For this purpose, this study selected 10 well-known speakers and analyzed their speed and pauses when they deliver the main message, through the speech analysis program, Praat. Lecturers with slow and normal speech rate tended to use the strategy of having many pauses or holding the pauses long, especially when speaking the main message. This study has the significance that it has presented new results that are different from the previous studies that viewed a characteristic of people who speak well as fast speaking with less pauses.

Abstract
