김춘수의 초기 詩와 하이데거 사유의 연관성 문제

Abstract

This article clarifies the influential relationship between the thought of Heidegger and Kim, Chun-soo's early poems. By far many literary critics have interpreted that Kim's early poems related to flowers were influenced directly from Heidegger's thought of existentialism. However, our close examination of Kim's early poems shows that the existential characters revealed in them were from the influence of R. M. Rilke. Then, can we say that there had been no influence from the thought of Heidegger at all in Kim's early poems? Why have those literary critics interpreted Kim's early poems in terms of the influential relationship with Heidegger? Getting a clue to these questions, we have examined the various interpretations of literary critics centered on the influential relationship, and tried to clarify the influential relationship between Rilke and Kim, Chun-soo. Then, by comparing this with the Heideggerian elements that had been shown in Kim's essays on poetry from the 1960s, we have examined the difference between the literary critics and Kim's essays. In this way, we tried to point out some mistakes of the literary critics who introducing Heidegger's thought, have used some philosophical terms and contents without enough clarification. Especially we have tried to clarify that despite the fact that Kim, Chun-soo himself had explained about the influential relationship of his early poems through his own essays and critics on poetry, those literary critics had continued to emphasize the influence of Heidegger on Kim's early poems.
