철학적 신론은 가장 중요하며 오래된 철학의 주제 가운데 하나이다. 이 글은 과학·기술과 자본주의의 시대에서 잊혀졌거나, 한 켵으로 물러나 앉은 주제인 신 이해에 대한 논의를 담고 있다. 그것을 여기서는 탈형이상학 시대의 신 이해로 논지를 전개하고자 한다. 이 시대가 진리와 의미 물음이 감추어지고 잊혀진 시대, 전통적 형이상학이 의문시되는 시대임에도 불구하고 인간은 근본적으로 형이상학적 의미를 사유하는 존재임은 분명한 사실이다. 그러기에 후기 근대를 넘어서는 오늘날에도 형이상학의 원리는 필연적일 것이다. 여기서는 이러한 후기 근대 이후 시대의 형이상학을 탈형이상학이란 이름으로 규정하고 있다. 이 글은 먼저 신 이해의 역사를 살펴본 뒤, 신을 이해하기 위한 현재의 해석학적 지평과 무신론의 의미를 고찰한다. 이어 탈형이상학의 시대에 대한 규정과 의미, 이어 이런 시대 상황에서 요구되는 신 이해에 대한 논의를 전개한다. 그것은, 인간의 구체적 역사에 개입하는 전능한 신 개념이 아니라, 인간의 존재론적 행위의 의미와 근거에 자리하는, 그래서 마치 “없는 듯이 존재하는” 그러한 지평에서 이해되는 존재를 말한다.
Abstract
The studies of god is one of the most important and oldest topics of philosophy. This paper contains an argument about the understanding of god, a topic which has been forgotten or set aside in the era of scientific technology and capitalism. Here, argument is developed with an understanding of god in the era of post-metaphysical philosophy. While this is an era when the truth and questions about meaning have been hidden and forgotten, and traditional metaphysics is being questioned, it is an evident truth that human beings fundamentally speculate about metaphysical meanings. Therefore, even today with the passing of the late modern era, this theory is necessary. Here, metaphysical philosophy since the late modern era is defined as the post-metaphysical philosophy. After examining the history of understanding god, this paper will inquire about the horizon of current hermeneutics and the meaning of atheism. Then, the limit and the meaning of the post-metaphysical era, and an argument about the understanding of god demanded in this time period will be presented. By that, it does not refer to the concept of an omnipotent god who interferes with the detailed history of humans but a being who exists within the meaning and evidence of ontological behaviour of humans, who "exists without presence."
