수준별 화학실험 프로그램의 개발 및 적용이 중학생들의 과학 탐구능력과 태도에 미치는 효과

수준별 화학 실험 교수학습 프로그램을 적용한 수업이 중학생들의 과학 성취도에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위해 7차 교육과정의 중학교 과학과 화학영역에 대한 교수학습 프로그램 개발 및 이를 적용한 후 과학 탐구능력과 과학태도 변화에 대한 연구를 하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 적용 효과를 알아보기 위하여 실험반과 통제반의 사전 검사 점수를 고려한 공변량분석(ANCOVA) 결과는 통계적으로 의미 있는 차이(p<0.05)를 보였고, 따라서 수준별 화학 실험 교수학습 모형은 과학 탐구능력 신장에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 수준별 화학 실험 교수학습 프로그램의 과학 태도 변화에 대한 적용 효과를 알아보기 위한 공변량분석(ANCOVA) 결과는 통계적으로 의미 있는 차이(p<0.05)를 보였으며, 따라서 수준별 화학 실험 교수학습 모형이 과학 태도 신장에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 이상과 같은 연구 결과로 볼 때, 제7차 교육과정에서 강조하는 수준별 화학 실험 교수학습 프로그램의 현장 적용은 과학 태도와 탐구능력 신장에 매우 유용한 것으로 해석할 수 있다.
Abstract
On this study, the adaptive level teaching & learning program in chemical experiment was developed and applied to research the effect on scientific inquiry achievement of middle school students on the basis of analyzing the chemistry part of the science textbook in the 7th curriculum. According to the result of ANCOVA, there was significant differences (p<0.05) between the experimental group and the control group and the adaptive level teaching & learning program in chemical experiment was effective to foster the science process skills. ANCOVA was also a significant difference (p<0.05) between the experimental group and the control group to investigate on the purpose of recognizing the application effect about the change of the scientific aptitude using the adaptive level teaching & learning program in chemical experiment. Accordingly, it was considered that the adaptive level teaching & learning program in chemical experiment proved effective to foster science process skills and scientific aptitude.
